Although the current automobile market is depressed due to the global chip supply and demand structure, the latest statistics of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers show that from January to August, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in China reached 1.813 million units and 1.799 million units respectively, with the penetration rate of cumulative sales approaching 11%.According to the current trend, China is expected to achieve the target of 20% market share of new energy vehicles by 2025 ahead of schedule, according to China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

In terms of electric control, Chery independently developed vehicle control unit (VCU) can collect and monitor the running state of vehicle battery and motor more quickly, more accurately and more intelligently, making the overall performance of the vehicle better in terms of power performance, safety performance and energy recovery.

With strong and solid technical support, Chery's sales of new energy vehicles have also maintained rapid growth. From January to August this year, Chery Group sold 55,372 new energy vehicles, up 190.4% year-on-year. EQ1 has played the leading role in micro pure electric vehicles in China and even the world. Since its launching in 2017, EQ1 has undergone four times of evolution and won several First prizes in China: the first self-developed pure electric model, the first pure electric model built with lightweight all-aluminum body, the first two-door four-seat pure electric model with a driving range of more than 300 kilometers, the first pure electric model with automatic parking function, and the pure electric model with the highest penetration rate of shared travel.
