Passenger Car Recently, Brazil Fenabrave released car sales data. In the ranking of passenger car sales in Brazil in August, Chery ranked eighth for the first time with 4,717 units sold, surpassing Nissan and Chevrolet, with a market share of 3.94%, setting a new sales record again.
In August, the Brazilian auto market remained sluggish, with sales down 2.1% sequentially and 8.7% year-on-year. Chery continued to buck the trend, with August sales up 25% sequentially and up to 189% year-over-year. Among them, the Tiggo 5x remained the best-selling model, with 1,495 units sold up 35% from July, making it the 10th best-selling SUV in the segment; the Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 3x also performed well, selling 1,383 and 635 units, up 52.3% and 23.1% year-over-year respectively.
Tiggo 8 Sold Well in BrazilThis August marked the first anniversary of the launching of Tiggo 8 in Brazil.
