In August, the Brazilian auto market remained sluggish, with sales down 2.1% sequentially and 8.7% year-on-year. Chery continued to buck the trend, with August sales up 25% sequentially and up to 189% year-over-year. This August marked the first anniversary of the launching of Tiggo 8 in Brazil.
